Mothers United Tour

One bus. Ten cities. A national movement for mothers.

We’re hitting the road to mobilize mothers as advocates for change.

Mothers are the heart of every community—and yet, our voices too often go unheard. The Mothers United Tour is rooted in what Chamber of Mothers has always stood for: a movement built by and for mothers, grounded in local organizing, and committed to policy change from the ground up.

From rural America to Washington, D.C., we’re driving cross-country to hear what matters most to you—what’s working, what’s broken, and what mothers need to truly thrive. Each stop on the Mothers United Tour features a mix of connection, celebration, and advocacy—from baby expos and interactive speaker series—to address the issues critical to mothers today, ensuring that every voice is heard. Mothers are the heart of every community—and yet, their voices too often go unheard. The Mothers United Tour is about showing up in cities across the country to listen, connect, and build real community with moms from every walk of life.

“We fight for policy change, but what moms really want is simple: more ease and joy as we navigate motherhood alongside our other ambitions. This tour is about finding common ground among moms, growing our grassroots power, and making sure lawmakers hear us. When mothers’ priorities become mainstream priorities, everything will change.”

Erin Erenberg, Co-Founder and CEO of Chamber of Mothers

Mothers United LIVE

In select cities, we’re hosting Mothers United LIVE—bringing the bus and opening our doors to the community, creating a dynamic opportunity for people to listen, learn, celebrate and engage.

Catch the bus in a city near you:

  • Austin, TX – Saturday, September 13th @ The Long Center
  • Atlanta, GA – Tuesday, September 23rd @ The Lola
  • Washington, DC – Wednesday, October 29th
  • Charleston, SC – Saturday, November 8th

Your story matters.

Everywhere we go, we hear the same thing: “It shouldn’t be this hard.”

  • 51% of Americans and 60% of those living in rural communities live in a “child care desert.”
  • One in four women in the U.S. returns to work within two weeks of childbirth.
  • 80% of maternal deaths are preventable.

From childcare costs and access to a lack of a federal paid leave policy and high maternal death rates, U.S. mothers navigate a system that wasn’t built with us in mind.

Your story matters. Through interactive storytelling booths and digital forums, we are collecting, amplifying, and sharing mothers’ lived experiences to shift the narrative and send a clear message to policymakers: mothers’ needs matter.

Read and share stories from moms across the country. Share yours
